Services
Drawings
and Approvals
Miles Designs provides
an inclusive Drawings and Approvals service for the homeowner or developer.
This service includes design consultation, site survey, preparation of
design and working drawings and submissions for Town Planning Building
Regulations and any other statutory consents. Because it is an inclusive
service it includes all negotiations with the local authorities to secure
the appropriate approvals prior to site commencement. Five copies of the
approved drawings are provided together with copies of all Approval
documents upon completion of the service.
Building
Regulations only service
Miles Designs
provides a Building Regulations service to developers who have purchased
sites with the benefit of planning consent. The service includes drawing up
working drawings from the approved planning drawings and submission to the
Local Authority and following through to obtain the necessary building
regulations approvals.
Drawings
only service
Preparation of
drawings either from site information or from drawings. Usually where
Planning and Building Regulations are either not required or where the
client intends making his own applications.
Site
Appraisals and Feasibility studies
Miles Designs
have undertaken a number of Feasibility studies and appraisals. These have
been for commercial or institutional bodies and have included a school
planning to reorganise its school meals provisions, two public houses
wishing to develop their sites into hotels, a property owner looking to
maximise the development potential of his building, and a school looking to
relocate to a more spacious site.
Studies have
included the full financial implication of the potential development
including Cost in Use and general running costs including staffing and
servicing.
