Chiddingstone is in West Kent’s ‘golden triangle’40 minutes from Gatwick Airport and just two miles from Penshurst Place and Hever Castle; Chiddingstone also has its own castle, formerly the residence of the Streatfeilds and now home to permanent exhibitions of Egyptian, Japanese and Stuart + Jacobite artefacts. Chartwell and Sissinghurst are close by and there are many other places of interest to visit locally.
