Directions

B2027 Tonbridge—Edenbridge road, from the Tonbridge direction go through Chiddingstone Causeway then take the next signposted left, Chiddingstone 1 3/4 miles. This is our lane (called Hampkins Hill Road but there is no sign). Go over the railway bridge, past Chested Farm then Chested Cottage on the right. The drive to Chested is on the right after the barn, on a sharp left hand bend so be careful turning in.

*From Chiddingstone village, with the Church on your left, go out of the village and turn left at the Triangle Oast. Go down Hampkins Hill, and over the river. Chested is the next house on the left about half a mile after the river.

From Gatwick Airport, take the M23 south for one junction. Take the A264 to East Grinstead. Turn left in the middle of the town staying on the A264 for a further 3 miles until turning left at Holtye Golf Course (no road number, it is a small left hand turn, after a corner and signposted to Cowden). Turn left at the next T junction and go through Cowden. After Cowden, go straight across at a fairly big cross roads. Go on to the next T junction and turn left then first right. This will bring you in to Chiddingstone Village. Follow directions from * above.
